Where to eat & get FREE Services in Sydney.

Alert!! As most of these services are funded by government departments, the information they collect is NOT PRIVATE, and in some cases MUST be passed on to government departments. Our advice is to give them the absolute minimum information necessary to access services.
It is NOT SAFE to take children to ANY of these places, as most will most likely report their presence to NSW Communities -widely recognised as responsible for record #statechildabductions . Currently 35000 children under #stateabduction -most unwillingly. They represent the biggest initiator of marginalisation, the main cause of family breakdown and the main danger to children. Have someone approach the foodvan and accumulate sufficient food, without revealing that the children are present -unless you want DOCs to sieze them.

Homeless and Community Direct

Posted in Uncategorized on May 28, 2009 by SydneyHomeless

Homeless and Community Direct is a Marginalised community developed and directed initiative to provide a direct interface between Marginalised communities and the wider community. Our alliance formed in response to the long held view of several members that representatives of government departments and poverty industry operations who call themselves charities, take it upon themselves to make media and policy statements ostensibly representing the marginalised-when in fact their main aim is to increase the earnings of their organisations by using our communities as income generators.

Contact us: homelessandcommunity@letterboxes.orgHomeless and Community Direct is a direct to Community initiative which seeks to eliminate the costly middlemen who so often retain for their own purposes funds goods and services donated for the benefit of Homeless and Marginalised People.

Homeless and Community Direct is an alliance of homeless and marginalised people working with our supporters to drive wider community awareness of the marginalisation situation.

(http://tinyurl.com/foodvan830pmphoto ) just bring your stuff to give away, and help a homeless or marginalised person or family DIRECT.

Homeless and Community Direct are co-ordinating “Homeless for a Day in Sydney” a project aiming to personally empower Sydneys Homeless community by providing the opportunity for interested parties to hear experience and live the existence of Sydneys homeless. This project aims to end the inference by Poverty Industry spokespersons that we need them to speak on our behalf- thereby effectively silencing our voice; we also aim to end the mainstream media’s lazy habit of taking the word of those organisations who have become major beneficiaries of donations as well as corporate and government funding solicited and collected in our name. We speak for ourselves-they speak for their industry. Our Homeless for a day “Homeless Homestay” is a two way empowerment initiative empowering the homeless guide with extra economic access, while enlightening guests with the realities and rigours of life on the streets of Sydney-This is no walk in the park.

How it works.

Homeless Homestay offers a 24 hour one-on-one/one on two or group experience of living on the streets, using the same methods and rudimentary sleeping facilities as mein hosts, who are chosen from the ranks of genuine Sydney Homeless.
